Cake Decorating Program

Sweet Success is a 2 hour fun and creative program where youth can learn how to decorate cakes. Participants will explore piping, frosting, design techniques, and how to bring their ideas to life through hands on learning. This program helps build creativity, patience, confidence, and can even inspire future business or career goals in baking and cake design. Each session will have 6 students. We have partnered with Lashonda Turner, the owner of The Sweet Boutique to help bring this program to life.
Barber Program
Spots Are Filled For June 21, 2026
Fade Success is an 8 week program for youth ages 10 to 18 that gives participants the opportunity to step into the world of barbering and learn real hands on skills in a supportive environment. Participants will be introduced to sanitation, tools, fades, tapers, grooming techniques, and the basics of the barber profession. This program helps youth build confidence, discipline, creativity, and explore a valuable trade that can lead to future opportunities. We have partnered with D’Macks Barber Institute, who sponsors 3 students during each program session.

Financial Literacy Program

In partnership with Citizens Bank, Money Success is a 2 day program that helps youth learn how to make smart money decisions and build strong habits for the future. Participants will learn about saving, budgeting, spending, banking, and how to handle money with confidence. This program makes learning about money simple, real, and empowering so youth can feel more prepared for adult life.
Career Readiness Program

Career Success is a 2 hour program designed to help youth get ready for the real world and feel confident about their future. Participants will learn important skills like resume building, interview preparation, communication, professionalism, and career exploration. This program helps youth discover their strengths, prepare for opportunities, and take the next steps toward success. This program will be led by Alicia Cooper.
